Can someone give me updated information on how to upload my library to my new computer? I have a new MacBook Pro, and I can access my library on the web by logging in. I just downloaded zotero, but I'm not sure how to move my library files to the downloaded version of zotero on my computer. I'm worried that if I just hit the sync button, I might accidentally loose all 500 very important records in my library.

    so just hitting the sync button works. While you should have a back-up of your library in any case

    just hitting the sync button is a perfectly safe way to do this.
