Word could not communicate with Zotero (Zone Alarm)

Hi,

as some others I read, I also came across problem with word plugin and got error: "word could not communicate with zotero". After I read some posts, I figured out it is an issue with zone alarm firewall. Now I managed to temporarily "fix" this, with deactivating firewall, reset ff and word and reactivating firewall afterwards, but it is very annoying to do this each time, I want to do something.

Is there any known solution for this?

Ps: I have installed all latest versions of programs.

find a different firewall than Zone Alarm, otherwise no - no one even knows what the problem is exactly, but it's clearly Zone Alarm interfering with traffic it has no business interfering with.
Also, for most regular users, Zone Alarm is overkill. If you're accessing the internet behind a router and with the Windows defaul Firewall, there's not much reason to use Zone Alarm

According to another thread it's just the ZoneAlarm ("ForceField"?) toolbar that causes this, not the main networking part, since it's the former that tries to cut Firefox off from the rest of the system.
