zotero plugin fails to install on libreoffice 3.4.5 (OS: ubuntu 11.10)
I'm using the linux mint 12 (basically ubuntu 11.10), and just downloaded and ran zotero standalone for linux (64-bit).
I get error messages when zotero tries to automatically install the openoffice plugin. Here's the error message I see when running run-zotero.sh:

I also can't get the plugin to install manually through libreoffice when trying to add the plugin through libreoffice's extension manager:

I tried googling some of the wording in these error messages to find answers, but didn't have much luck. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I had openjdk-6-jre installed as well as libreoffice-java-common. I just installed openjdk-6-jdk and ran libreoffice again. Now I see the zotero toolbar, but the buttons on it are non-responsive. When I go to extension manager, it lists the plugin but says "Error: The status of this extension is unknown." I get error messages similar to the one I linked to above when I try to re-install the plugin manually through extension manager.
32-bit version of "same" installation on a netbook has no problem.
Error from the extension manager is "(com.sun.star.uno.RuntimeException) {{Message = "javaloader error - no mapping from java to C++", Context = (com.sun.start.uno.Xinterface) @0 }}
It seems to me that this might be a bug of some sort in the installation scripts or in the documentation: I didn't know I needed to select the JRE in LibreOffice.
All seems okay now though. Thank you!
