Font size in citations

I set the citation font size to 9 in Standalone preferences, but it still comes up in 12 pt. font (in Office for Mac 2011). How do I get it to 9? Thanks!

The word processor, and not Zotero, controls the style and format of footnotes and endnotes. You've to change the style in word.
