What should be the webpage identification in citing formatt?

Hi,

If I be citing a book, it would appear = Scott (2000, p.2).

My issue is if I be citing a webpage, in the place of p., what should be the webpage identification?

It is because I am citing literally a text from a specific webpage session (e.g. Documentation session from Zotero webpage) and it is nonsense to mention "page number", but I am wondering what other category could be used...

Thanks,
Cadu
  • that's not a Zotero question.
Most styles would not have you cite any locator information for webpages, so you'd just cite Scott (2000), but individual citation styles may have different ideas.
