STOP "Installing zotero word for mac" from coming up when opening firefox

I have Word 1983-2001, and so the installation for word wont work. I don't mind, I do not need zotero directly in word anyway. But everytime I open firefox it automatically puts "Installing zotero word for mac" and then the error message:

[Exception... "'While an installation of Word X was found, Zotero Word for Mac Integration requires Word 2004 or later. Please upgrade Word to use Zotero Word Integration. @[install:/Users/simon/Desktop/Development/FS/zotero-word-for-mac-integration/build/src/install.m:142]' when calling method: [nsIRunnable::run]" nsresult: "0x8057001e (NS_ERROR_XPC_JS_THREW_STRING)" location: "JS frame :: resource://zotero-macword-integration/installer.jsm :: <TOP_LEVEL> :: line 67" data: no]

How can I stop this from automatically happening every time I open up firefox?
  • the Zotero word-add-on is a separate plugin - you should be able to just de-install that in tools--add-ons-->extensions
  • Thank you, got it! Sorry for the simple question, I'm glad it was that easy!
