cannot move an item to a different collection

If I want to move an item from a collection to the "Unfiled Items"-container or another collection it does not work. So I can´t rearrange Zotero-items among collections. Hints to solutions are very much appreciated. Thanks.

    To remove an item from a collection Right Click the item in the collection and then click "Remove selected item." That does not delete the item from your library (The option "Delete selected item from library" does that! :))

    That item is now "unfiled" (unless it is in another collection).

    But, I guess you are right...you can't "move" an item from one collection to another.

    You can have items in multiple collections.
