Open ebook search engine
Hi
I'm running an ebook search engine on http://search.digitalreading.net
It is using Google Custom Search Engine technology, which basically means that instead of searching the entire Google Galaxy the search will be limited to a list of sites thereby giving more targeted results.
This list of searchable sites is open for contribution, anyone can sign up using Google Marker and select Digital Reading Search.
I have currently added Project Gutenberg and a few digital libraries (hosted at universities) that I know of yet the list is deinitely incomplete.
I'd like to welcome the Zotero community to contribute to the ebook search site.
The ebook search could even be integrated into Zotero.
Currently if you're using Firefox2 -- which is needed by Zotero anyways -- you can visit the website and add Digital Reading Search as a new search engine to your searchbox.
ps. as far as I know there is no other working ebook search engine on the web currently, especially not an open one.
Regards
