Multiple Citations appear as one

I was trying to cite multiple sources in a single citation but instead of being displayed as a multiple citation (5-7) it showed up as a single citation (5). In the bibliography all three references were listed together under the same citation. How do I change this?

    Which style, and which version of Zotero?

    The Chicago Manual of Style (Note without Bibliography), however I've tried two other styles, and I get the same problem.

    The version is current: 3.0.3 for Firefox, and the Word Plugin is version 3.1.6

    CMS Note without Bibliography is a footnote style, so a citation with multiple items will appear (correctly) as one footnote, no? If you want a style with numbers in text that correspond to bibliography entries, you should use a numeric style. Or am I missing your point?
