send pdf by e-mail from Zotero

Hi, I started this discussion on the General category but it might need to go in the Feature Requests.

Anyways. Is there a way to send a pdf by e-mail from Zotero? Currently, I need to open the folder where the pdf is saved and then drag-drop in my e-mail, or I open the pdf and save it in a new location to be send.

Why can't I just drag-drop the pdf from my library in Zotero directly into a new e-mail (Thunderbird or gmail in my case)?

    You cannot drag and drop a file from Zotero because there is no cross platform way to support pushing files to system clipboard.

    There is some discussion about this on the forums if you search for 'email'
