Exporting Timelines

Does anybody know of a way to export timelines from Zotero in any way? We have a large set of articles for which we would like to show the trend over time (also by selecting tags etc). Thanks!

    Nobody? Or does anybody have any suggestions for how to do this outside of Zotero? Maybe some sqlite client?

    If you have some light programming chops, maybe you could hook it up to http://timeline.verite.co/ ? (haven't used it, and I don't know your feature requirements, but it looks shiny)

    Stephan, are you referring to the existing (MIT SIMILE) timeline functionality that's already in Zotero, or are you not aware of that?

    There's no easy way to save that (that I'm aware of) because of how it's generated, but if you view the page source you can see the zotero://timeline/data URL used for the page. If you load that in the browser you'll get the XML data that Zotero is generating for the selected timeline, which you can load into Timeline yourself. (You'll need to change the chrome:// URLs for the images to point to separate copies of the famfamfam icons, which you can get from the Zotero source.)
