tag errors and sync process
If the sync process encounters tag errors (for example, tags are too long), does it abort or continue to sync items that aren't affected by the error?
I'm asking because I'm switching to Zotero from Endnote, and imported my ~3000 or so reference library to Zotero. When I synced to the server last night, i received several errors related to tags that were too long and used the tool to break them down into smaller tags. This went on for several minutes, when I finally decided enough was enough and hit 'cancel' on the tag editing tool.
When I accessed my zotero library from a separate computer this AM, it did not see any of the changes I had made to the imported library last night.
If canceling the tag edit operation aborts the sync process, what are my options for batch processing my tags so I can actually get my library synced without having to go through and edit the tags manually?

If your library is entirely from the import, you could wipe your library (by closing Zotero/Firefox and deleting zotero.sqlite and 'storage' in your Zotero data directory) and then try fixing your output from Endnote. If you're getting long tags, there's something something wrong with the way the tags are formatted in the output. If you post a relevant sample here someone would be able to tell you what the problem is.
