Zotero.dot is not a valid Office Add-in
I've recently installed my 2007 Office Suite on a new Windows 7 (64 bit) computer and have been upgrading Firefox regularly. Something's gone haywire recently and I cannot activate the Zotero add-in. I've tried reinstalling both the 3.0.3 and the 3.1.5 versions of the add-on as per the trouble shooting guide.
I've also tried the options route, walking the add-in in by guiding it to it in the word\startup folder and by pasting it into the word/add-ins folder.
In all cases I get the error "Zotero.dot is not a valid Office Add-in." I am stumped and would appreciate any help.
Thanks a ton.

New info - Microsoft tech has identified the Zotero add-in as corrupt so I'll give it another go.

dstillmanI don't think we've seen this before. If this happens after reinstalling the integration plugin in Firefox and after replacing the old Zotero.dot file, this might be due to a problem with your Office installation. I'd recommend clearing all copies of Zotero.dot from your system and removing the integration plugin from Firefox, making sure the error is gone from Word, and trying again. If that doesn't work, you might try reinstalling Office. Simon might have some other ideas.

dstillmanA Google search for "is not a valid Office Add-in" might be helpful here, since this is unlikely to be a Zotero issue.
