I've imported thousands of refs into Zotero, and I've learned how to link PDFs to those citations.

But I cannot figure out how to get information from a PubMed search into Zotero. Any tips? I tried going to a PubMed search, and adding the selected information to Zotero--but all I get is a 'web page' item, no citation.

Also, I tried Univ Colorado library which is supposed to be zotero compatible. Could not get a selected citation to do anything there either.

What am I doing wrong? Where to go for instructions on this basic stuff?

Dan--thanks. The quick start tips for PubMed worked. But does anyone who uses PubMed have any tips for best practices? It seems what you select in PubMed is not reflected in the Zotero window, so you have to select it in the Zotero window after reading through the list in PubMed.

And at Univ Colorado although they are listed as a collaborating library nothing shows up on Zotero address bar when I highlight a book in their catalog.

Any tricks to quickly get info into Zotero when it doesn't recognize a site?
