Upgrade StorageBehavior of the items' list when attaching a document in search mode
Hello,
I noticed a behavior of Zotero that is annoying when doing the following:
Firstly I search for a keyword in the quick search field and get several items. Secondly I drag-&-drop a file onto the desired item from the reduced list.
And here we are: the quick search field is reseted so that if I want to attach other files to some items of the previously reduced list, I have to search again and again...
Of course, I could create a saved search as a workaround. But this solution is tedious when one desires to repeat the operation for a limited number of files (e.g., 5-20) but with lots of keywords (e.g. authors).
Is there an option or a tip that I missed?
Otherwise, would it be conceivable to implement such a feature in the future?
