Upgrade StorageDocument Extraction
I have an interesting thought for zotero. It is a significant departure from your current direction, so I doubt it would really make sense, but it would make a really interesting capability if it was added.
In its role as my personal library catalog system it would be useful if zotero could add some basic document management functions. As my electronic library grows, I can see a day when it will include thousands of titles. Academic articles, and bibliographic references would be central to this vision, but so would ebooks. This would include reference books as well as books from Gutenberg and other sources.
I'd like to use zotero to copy documents/books off from my primary database to another source. This would allow me to copy a set of articles or books from my desktop/server to a flash drive, my laptop or even an ebook reader (such as my bookeen). Even a simple copy feature would be worthwhile, but ideally it would use a sync function that would let me sync sets of documents based on tags or collections.
