3.0.2 SA/Chicage note messes up leading single quotation mark when item contains false apostrophe
I just tried to cite a paper named:
‘Parmenides’ 132c–133a and the development of Plato's thought
What Zotero gave me was:
Cf. “’Parmenides’ 132c–133a and the Development of Plato’s Thought.”
That is, the leading single quotation mark turned from "‘" into "’", that is, the wrong way round (using Chicago, note with bibliography).
Apparently, this has to do with the way in which Zotero fixes apostrophes; for after I corrected the apostrophe in the paper title (from “Plato's” to “Plato’s”), the error was gone.
It’s not exactly a big issue, but I thought I’d let you know.

fbennettThanks for this careful report; as you identified, the processor was tripped up by the mixed use of straight and formatted quotes. I've introduced a fix that should handle this better in future versions, without side-effects.
