Automatic capitalization - Chicago
I had never had a problem with this until 2 days ago, when my Zotero upgraded to 3.0. I use Firefox 10.0 and Word 2011 on a Mac computer.
Even though I correctly capitalize foreign titles in my Zotero database (I often have to do it by hand), when I import a citation into Word, it capitalizes every single word in the title. I noticed that this only happens with certain foreign citations but not others. Even when I try to change this manually through the "editor" function, it will revert back to capitalization.
I have looked through previous threads that deal with this matter, and as suggested, did this: Double-click “extensions.zotero.capitalizeTitles” to toggle between the true and false setting.
But it still hasn't solved the problem. I am using Chicago Manual of Style, and don't know why this has happened all of a sudden, when I've been using Zotero for 2 years without any issues. I am not very computer savvy and would need step-by-step instructions in very plain English if I need to do anything complicated, like creating a modified copy of Chicago.
Please advise! I am editing the final draft of my dissertation and need to resolve this problem ASAP! Thanks in advance for your help.
PS- is it possible that I need to upgrade to the newest Word for Mac plugin?
