Zotero 3.0 with Chrome

As there are two different downloads -- Zotero 3.0 Standalone AND the Chrome translator, how should I proceed for an installation on a Mac without Zotero?

Should I download Standalone first and install it, and then download the Chrome translator?

Please advise. Thanks!
