I am using zotero standalone 3.0rc1.1 with the chrome connector. I have tried resetting my translators and updating my translators with no effect.

Ajlyon will have to take a look at this.
CrossRef has the DOI:
http://www.crossref.org/openurl/?pid=zter:zter321&url_ver=Z39.88-2004&&rft_id=info:doi/10.1520/D0792-08&noredirect=true&format=unixref
and Zotero does request (and presumably get) the right page, but then fails with "element is undefined" - so presumably there is a problem parsing the XML, but I don't know what exactly it is.

We didn't yet have logic for standards in the CrossRef translator, which underlies the DOI lookup.

Please go to http://github.com/ajlyon/translators/raw/master/CrossRef.js and save the file to the translators directory of your Zotero data directory (http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data).

It should start working. If this works for you, please post here so that I can submit this change to be pushed to all users.

Take note of the imported data-- if anything is missing, let me know.

This fixed it for me. Thanks for the quick reply! The fields that were correctly updated are: title, author, institution, date, url. No DOI, pages, or abstract.
