I've got Zotero 1.0.3, the openoffice plugin 1.0b3, openoffice 2.3.1, and I'm running a PPC on Gentoo Linux.
When I try to insert a citation or insert a bibliography, OpenOffice often crashes. It doesn't leave any errors in the console. When I recover the document, it's got the reference in it. Sometimes I can insert more refs without another crash, but OpenOffice crashes fairly often when doing Zotero operations.

dstillmanIf OpenOffice itself is crashing, your best bet is probably to generate a backtrace and report it to the OpenOffice folks.
