IOP (Institute of Physics) translator does not save abstract
Is there a way to fix this or is it a problem with IOP not making it available?
RSC (Royal Society of Chemistry), AIP (American Isntitute of Physics) and OSA (Optical Scociety of America) do not cause problems.
I have been wasting too much time cutting and pasting so I would like to help with this if I can. The latest Firefox (9 as of this writing) complains Scaffold is not compatible; any way around this? I already tried installing from file and cannot open the file to edit (it spits out gibberish).
Also, is there a way to have the journal title recognized so the corresponding abbreviation can be inserted?
Cheers

For journal titles and abbreviations - no, but see here

The IOP translator uses the DOI for citation data - it's probably possible to scrape the abstract from the page, but it's a bit of a mess - they don't provide any metadata that includes the abstract.
Can you use Scaffold 3.0 on Zotero 2.1?
Thanks for the link to the abbreviations gadget; I'll play with it.
