Error ID 589614246 when deleting unused tag;

Got this error three times, so it is reproducible. The error message says firefox should be restarted, but it is actually the zotero plugin that is inoperable, not firefox (I am using it to report this error, without the recommended restart).

The error just means to restart Firefox to continue using Zotero.

You're on 2.1.10, which isn't worth debugging. If you can reproduce it in 3.0, let us know. 3.0 will be out of beta shortly.
