citations not working

had an error: 2031486680. can't get the style manager to work. doesn't recognize any data in the journal names i imported. converted all my citations to lower case roman numerals (i had originally had numbers) and creates a wierd biblography with the format i want but then the tiny roman numerals listed with numbers after it and i can't get rid of them. frustrating.

which citation style? How does a new document look? Have you tried switching to a different citation style?

i have tried multiple times but it won't let me switch the citations to numbers again...only "i, ii, iii, iv", etc... also seems to have converted them to a word doc endnote separate from zotero which it won't let me delete. total mess of this document. using Word 2003.

all citations styles. not matter what i switch them too, they stay the same.

the document looks as i described above all of the citations as superscript lower case roman numerals.

too buggy. going back to Endnote, which is a huge bummer. but i cannot get this to work well with Word. too bad.

For the record, in case anyone comes across this thread.

We have never seen anything like this. Zotero has the capability to produce citation numbers in roman numeral format, but it is not used by any style. The roman numerals in aguadagnolo's document (and the other anomalies) seem to be due to some more general problem with his or her word installation. What that problem was will presumably remain a mystery.

The document I just started this week using Turabian 7th edition (full note) style is numbering the in-text citations / footnotes using roman numeral format. Am I now only the second person to experience this?

formatting of footnote numbers and anchors is not handled by Zotero at all, this is a setting in your word processor.
