IEEE style bibliography out of bounds in OpenOffice

When I insert a citation and, consequently a bibliography using OpenOffice extension, if I select the IEEE citation style, the numbers of the bibliography go out of the document bounds, how can I avoid this?
Maybe is it possible to permanently modify a style?
  • What do you mean by "out of bounds"?
  • I mean that document text begins, for example, 2 cm from the left border, while bibliography text begins 1,7 cm from the left border.
If I change this editing the bibliography, the next time I click on the update button alla my editing is cancelled.
  • I was under the impression that this was the proper format for IEEE, but reviewing the style guide, you are right. The corrected style can be obtained at the Zotero styles site (under "Dev Styles").
  • Thank you Simon, I didn't look in the Dev Styles section.
This style is far better, but there's still a problem.
In the document's body citation is like this:
    [1]
but in the bibliography you find this:
    [1 ] ...
isn't it possible to delete that space after the 1?
  • I encounter the same problem use the latest version 1.0.3, out of margin and the extra tab after the number. I also tried the dev style, it doesn't work for me.

    any idea to fix it?
  • The fault is also true for word plugin.
