Could someone upload this to the repository?
  • thanks a lot for making all of these. I'll put this up asap.
Two quick things: The neuroscience styles you're posting, they are all different styles, right?
Also, if you're planning on coding more of these - Harvard1 isn't the greatest template.
You could look, e.g. at Elsevier's Harvard style. The main advantage is that it uses groups and delimiters more and prefix and suffix less, making it much more reliable with different types of data, missing fields etc. Also, because it's based more heavily on macros, it should be faster to adjust.
  • Thanks. The discussions I launched recently are all about different styles for different journals.

I'm quite new to these things. Recently, I wanted to use Zotero for my paper for another journal (after finding out EndNote sucks!), and realized that the available CSL style for the journal had some tiny problems. I found those one by one, and I tried to correct them. Then, I found a couple of CSL styles for major journals in my field is missing, so I tweaked the same style into other styles. The Harvard template wasn't my choice initially, but it's good to know. I'll have a look at Elsevier's Harvard.
  • great - we greatly appreciate the styles as they are - but as you seemed to be doing a lot, I thought I'd point it out.
  • Re-created from Elservier's Harvard style as template. Could you abandon the previous one and upload this version? In my testing, output was the same.

  • thanks - I've fixed the type in the title, set the template to elsevier-harvard, removed the generic-base category, put you as author and everyone else as contributor and uploaded it.

Note for others - this style is similar, but not equivalent to Elsevier Harvard.
  • Thanks a lot. Because 'Neuroscience Research' is a journal published from Elsevier, using Elsevier Harvard as a template made a lot of sense.
  • Spotted one error of mine.
    We need

    page-range-format="expanded"

in cs:style. Could someone fix this manually? Or should I use GitHub again?
  • I'll do that manually.
  • done - thanks.
  • Changed demote-non-dropping-particle to "never".

    Could someone update the repository?
