European Journal of Neuroscience

In my testing with Zotero reference test pane, this new CSL works well for items of journal article, book, and boos section types. It may still contain an error, but I think it may be already worth for sharing (better than nothing for the journal).

I couldn't find a way to render 'in press'. But, it seems that none of CSL styles available can do it. Is it a problem of CSL or Zotero?

Anyway here's CSL for European Journal of Neuroscience for the repository.

  • it's up, thanks.
  • up - thank you.
Yes, we can't do in press properly atm.
  • Thanks, and it's good to know.
  • According to your advise, re-created using Elsevier Havard as a template.
OK, quality. Formatting for Symposia contributions is not supported.

  • done, thanks.
  • Changed demote-non-dropping-particle to "never".

    Could someone update the repository?

  • I just installed the CSL for the European Journal of Neuroscience. Though it is working fine, it gives me the journal title not abbreviated for the bibliography as it is asked by the journal. Did I do something wrong?
  • If it is something like "Brain Res" instead of "Brain Res.", you can manually modify the "Journal Abbr" field of each item in your Zotero library and add "."s where they should be (e.g. "Brain Res.").

I think it's generally difficult to automatically tell where "." should be (e.g. after "Res") or should not be (e.g. after "Brain").
  • Now I realized that some journals are abbreviated while others are not. I checked the "Journal Abbr" field in my library and the field is empty for some articles which probably causes the problem. Thanks for the hint!
