Strange character imported from BibTex

Importing the following BibTex file puts a strange first character in the author name. It seems like before the F of Fabian there is a small superscript o. Same happens to February in the date field. Is it possible that takes "F as a single character upon import?

@article{F'abi'an:de0008,
author = "F{\'a}bi{\'a}n, L{\'a}szl{\'o} and K{\'a}lm{\'a}n, Alajos",
title = "{Volumetric measure of isostructurality}",
journal = "Acta Crystallographica Section B",
year = "1999",
volume = "55",
number = "6",
pages = "1099--1108",
month = "Dec",
doi = {10.1107/S0108768199009325},
url = {http://dx.doi.org/10.1107/S0108768199009325},
}
  • Here is an example.
    The note field of my BibTex file is:
    NOTE = {(PDF from the publisher: Oldenbourg Wissenschaftsverlag, M{\"u}nchen)},

    And it is imported inside Zotero 1.0.3 in the Extra field as:

    (PD℉ from the publisher: Oldenbourg Wissenschaftsverlag, M\"unchen)

    Note also the ü is not translated.

  • Thanks a lot! Resetting Translations solved the F problem and the missing - problems thanks!
