RIS import from clipboard: Author names in upper case

It seems that the translator for importing RIS when clicking on the address bar icon differs from the import from the clipboard translator. The latter leaves upper case author names alone while the address bar import seems to change the names to mixed case.

It seems as though I have been making lots of requests lately. While I don't have programming skills, I would like to be able to offer some of my time to the project. I welcome suggestions or requests.

If you want to help, there is a lot of help needed updating the documentation for the upcoming Zotero 3.0 release - features such as the new word processor implementation, duplicate detection, improved online interface, chapters that are described for FF only and need to be updated for Standalone etc.
One way to go would be to work through the changelog:

If you're interested, I'd suggest opening a new thread in the website category to coordinate both work and review of such documentation.

    To your question:
There is no RIS import from the address bar - there are some translators that use the RIS supplied by a database and some of them then get rid of the uppercase letters - as you know, we're always happy to fix this when it's pointed out.

We discussed and decided against implementing such a solution globally in the RIS translator - there is a desire to keep the basic translators (like bibtex, RIS, MARC) clean and deal with bad data on a translator-by-translator basis.
