Numeric instead of Roman numeral citation?

Hello. I am using Chicago Manual of Style (Note without Bibliography), and I am trying – without success – to figure out how to get Zotero to use numeric numbering for in-text citations instead of Roman numerals.

Does anyone have any insight on this? Thanks in advance.

    that's a setting in your word processor not in Zotero so that's the place to look.
    Maybe if you say which one you're using someone will be able to help you here - but this is principally Zotero support, so no guarantees.

    If the footnote numbers are coming out as roman numerals, it's likely that would be an issue with Word, not Zotero.

    Belated Thanks! You are both correct: This was easily fixed directly in MS Word. I sincerely appreciate your assistance.

    How did you fix it - can't seem to find where to go in Word.

    you'd have to say which Word version more specifically (my guess would be if you google your word version with something like "footnotes roman numbers" you'll likely get an answer, too)

    Thanks - Office 11 on a Mac. Not too thrilled with the interface but I found it.
