Auto-Insert Source into Text of Notes
Some of us still work in "hands-on" mode (e.g. printed text) for organizing our research. Notes, especially if printed out, are easily disconnected from the source. For printing/viewing of notes, automatic insertion of the source, say, in the upper-right corner of the notes area would be extraordinarily useful.
This might be accomplished by including the ability to toggle in the notes configuration a custom field from the source-record. The user, for instance, could specify an abbreviation or code for each resource (author-date, etc.), then choose to make it appear in the note if desired.
At any rate, some way of visualizing--in the note itself--what it is "pinned" to in the database would be awfully nice.
