":"-syntax of 3.0 should support letters
The new ":<PAGE NUMBER>"-syntax is great, but for people who work with ancient sources it’s somewhat disappointing that page numbers in that syntax are restricted to actual numbers.
That’s because ancient sources are typically cited according to standard editions in which letters indicate the exact position of a text fragment on a given page, for example, you’d cite a portin from Plato’s Parmenides as ”Parmenides, 132a-c” not as “Parmenides, 132”.
Unless it’s too complicated, it would be great if the ":<PAGE NUMBER>"-syntax could support letters; I understand that typing a letter is a convienient way to tell Zotero that I’m done entering the page number and am now looking for another source to cite, but maybe the return key could do that just as well.
