Debug ID

Hello
I get the error message on my synch computer B:
"The attached file could not be found. It may have been moved or deleted outside of Zotero."
I followed the steps given (controll if documents are on zotero storage...).
Here are my Debug IDs

reset history: D1469049719
try to open document: D489985621

  • Those Debug IDs don't really cover anything. You'd have to provide Debug IDs for the first sync after performing the history reset and for the attempt to open the file.

    for the attempt to open a file: D2032168379.
  • That file doesn't exist on the server, so this computer is irrelevant. It's a PDF, so you'd be able to open it from zotero.org if it were there.

  • Thanks,but The files a re on my zotero account I checked it again. I got a new computer at work and I have the synch problem since then, before it worked perfectly.
  • I don't know what files you're referring to or what you mean by "I checked it again", but there's no way you could access the PDF you tried to open in the second Debug ID (belonging to the item with the key "TB4TNDT5", which will also show up in the address bar when you view the attachment item online), since it doesn't exist on the server. The page I linked to explains how to fix this, assuming the file is on another computer.

    Note that items (database entries) and files (PDFs, web pages, etc.) are not the same thing. All the items will show up online. The file you tried open isn't there, as you can see for yourself.
