Upgrade StorageZotero Reference Test Pane doesn't load

I would like to make some small changes to an exiting CSL style in Zotero, but couldn't run the Zotero Reference Test Pane to preview the changes I make.
I work in Linux using using Zotero Standalone 3.0b2.1 with a Chrome connector.
I've tried opening it through chrome://zotero/content/tools/csledit.xul in Chrome, but this doesn't work. Error 300 (net::ERR_INVALID_URL): Unknown error.
I've also tried opening it in Zotero Standalone preferences using the button “Open CSL Editor”. Doesn't work either: I always get the error message that the "file jar" where cslEdit.xul is supposed to be located "cannot be found." I manually checked the exact location in the file path indicate and it's there!
I also tried searching the forums for similar problems, but couldn't find one.
