Delete one of two same references so that both citations in the text remain
Hallo,
I have a bunch of same references in my Zotero list and also in my word document. So that the same reference appears twice or more often in my Word Bibliography, with separate links to citations in the text. Now I want to delete all the repeating entries from Zotero to make everything consistent. Is this somehow possible to do without losing the links to the citation in the text. Or is it possible that all the citations in the text are automatically linked to the remaining bibliography entry?
E.g. is it possible to merge references in my Zotero list?
Thanks in advance for the help.
Cheers Daniel

adamsmithZotero 3.0 (currently in beta) has a duplicate detection and merging feature for that - it's a stable beta that's relatively safe to use, but a beta nonetheless, so you'll have to decide for yourself if you want to use it.
