Zotero tries to import references listed at ResearhcGate with CoIns. Yet, the authors list is not correctly translated. Example:

COinS doesn't have proper support for multiple authors - they pack them all in there, which leads to the odd import, but that's because researchgate is using non-standard COinS. Nothing to be done really, no - although it would be possible for you to write a dedicated translator for the site, of course.

Multiple authors will be imported by Zotero if they are are in distinct rft.au entries. Packing them into one entry is not what the OpenURL specification requires, and it really just an abuse of the format. Notify the site maintainers, and feel free to point them to this discussion if they have questions about implementing OpenURL / COinS.
