Can I manually sync a file with automatically synced data?
(Apologies if this has been discussed already, but I couldn't find it!)
I mainly use Zotero on one computer, but also occasionally on two others. I sync the database but not the files, because I have a lot of them and it isn't worth it for the limited amount of time I use Zotero on the secondary computers. When I do want a snapshot that I saved on one computer from a different computer, I use the link in the Zotero database and re-download the file. Sometimes it's useful to also retake the snapshot. However, now I've got two copies of the snapshot in the database, only one of which works on each computer. Is there some way to consolidate this?
Thanks!

mronkkoThe easiest way is to purchase more storage. Also you can sync the storage folder with dropbox, or some other file synchronization tool.

dstillmanOn-demand file downloading is coming in the next version of Zotero after 3.0.

joshuarbholdenThanks, Dan, that might be what I'm looking for! Is there a description of this feature anywhere that I could read?
