Report ID 200520045 - Unable to sync

Unable to sync with Zotero 2.1.10 and Firefox 9.0. I saved one 'new item from current page' and received the below report. I'll try uninstalling the cubbi.es plugin to see if it's related.

  • Do you get this repeatedly?
  • Yes, restarted Firefox and restarted my computer, still getting the message each time.
  • Can you provide a Debug ID for a sync attempt that produces this?
  • And thanks for your help!
  • Would updating to 3.0 beta version of Zotero resolve the problem? Does 3.0 have better compatibility with Firefox 9?
  • No, this isn't a problem on your system. There seems to be a very weird bug we've never before involving Amazon's cloud storage, which Zotero File Storage uses. Can you provide another Debug ID for a sync attempt? I'm going to report this to them, but I'd like a couple examples.

Note that this is just a file sync error for a single file. All your other data is uploading fine.
  • Strangely enough, after 1) moving the first item I had saved into a new collection in my library, and 2) saving a few more web pages as items, the sync seems to be working fine. I can no longer reproduce the bug.
