Works Cited list for Chicago Author-Date

I need to convert a paper I wrote using Chicago "Full Note with Bibliography" style to Chicago "Author-Date" for a journal submission. I am using the Open Office 3.3.0 wordprocessor and the Zotero plug in.

The conversion works okay. But when I go to generate a Bibliography I get an error message telling me the selected style "doesn't define a bibliography." That doesn't make any sense to me, since the definition of Author-Date style is that there is a corresponding Works Cited/Reference List at the end of the document.

Anyone else encountered the problem? Suggestions what to do?
  • you're right - the problem is not that the style actually doesn't define a bibliography - obviously it does, something else isn't working.
Create an error report after triggering that error message and post the ID here:
    http://www.zotero.org/support/reporting_bugs
you can try to re-install the style (i.e. Chicago author-date) from the Zotero repository, to make sure your version isn't corrupted.
  • Thanks for the help. I re-started Firefox and it turns out I was due for an upgrade of the Zotero plug in. That fixed it and it is now working correctly.
