Addition of "loc" as an alternative pagination reference
Increasingly scholars are needing to cite Kindle books, which don't have a page number, but rather a location number. Is it possible to include a "loc." among the versos and column options?
I think it's deplorable that kindle doesn't supply a way to get a actual page numbers, so that 3 people, one reading on a nook, one reading on a kindle, one reading a paper copy, can not point to the same place in a book. There has got to be a better solution.

In the final post canarik states that the actual printed book page numbers are now available for Kindle ebooks.
The Amazon Kindle help site states that the page number from the printed book at your reading location may be identified by pressing the Kindle menu button. Unfortunately, in my experience, the page number is not available for all books and is not available for many of the books that I may want to cite.
