Upgrade Storagecannot insert citation into word for windows (report ID 1613716690)
Hi I am having problems in using Zotero with Word for Windows. I have a PC with windows XP, I use Word for window 2007 ,I downloaded firefox v 7 ans installed Zotero V. 2.1 with the plug-ins for word and for open office. I checked and they are the right version for Zotero 2.1. All works well until I try to insert citations into Word documents. When I click on the "insert citation" button on the zotero bar in Word a pop up window asks me to choose the style of citation but nothing happens, I cannot scroll down teh menu to choose the style and cannot insert the citation. I tried with open office after installing the appropriate plug-in and I have exactly the same problem; I tried the same procedure on a different computer with windows vista and an old version of word (word 2000) with the same result. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the plug-ins as well as Zotero and firefox and I also tried to install Zotero standalone but I had again the same problem. I eventually removed the zotero.dot file from the word startup folder and reinstalled it manually after downloading it on my firefox profile but it did not solve the problem.
I must add that today suddenly Zotero started working perfectly well on my second computer (the one with the windows vista and word 2000 installed)the report ID on this errror was:1892660233 but I still have the same problem on the first computer.
Could anyone help?
