Dear all,

here is a (compiled) perl script that I wrote to automatically rename my most recently downloaded PDF with data from the most recently entered Zotero entry. You may even call this script directly from your browser, see

Let me know if this is useful for you. When following the PDF naming convention we could even bulk update the Zotero database with the correct PDF links.

Newbie here.... Could you explain how to use the tool you wrote? I would love to rename my existing collection of pdf according to the data in Zotero.

this would be quite useful... since most pdfs have meaningless names...
