I have been using Z for a while, but never got into the nuts and bolts of it. I'm having some issues with my computer storage. So, I have some questions.

When I drag/drop an item with its pdf from My Library to a collection or a group library, does the pdf file gets duplicated and stored in a different location? i.e., do I end up with two (or more) copies of the pdf (which takes up space)?

I have no issues with my storage online (I purchased some space a while ago, and it should be plenty), the problem is my hard drive.

I have not been able to find this info in Z documentation or FAQs.

If you drag it to a collection, no. You're not duplicating the item, so you're not duplicating the file.

If you drag it to another group, you're duplicating the item, so you get another file as well.

Thanks, that explain some of the space "lost".
