Item History for Zotero updated

I just noticed that the Item History for Zotero plugin (formerly "Zotero Item History") was not yet compatible with Firefox 6 & 7. I've updated the installer, and it seems to run under Firefox 7 with recent versions of Zotero.

    Can you update the installer to make it compatible with FF 8.0? You just need to change maxVersion in *.rdf I think... Thank you!

    I was able to install it in Zotero Standalone by modifying the .rdf file as you suggested. You can do this yourself AT YOUR OWN RISK by doing this:

    • download the add-on .xpi file
    • change the extension to .zip
    • extract the add-on to a folder
    • open install.rdf in a text editor
    • replace line 27 "2.1.*" with "3.0.*"
    • save the file
    • re-zip all the files in the folder
    • rename the extension .xpi
    • install in Zotero standalone
    I can't upload the modified file to a place to download it, but maybe someone else will...

    Ah, thanks, and sorry for the inconvenience. I doubt this would work with Zotero 2.1, so I've put up a fresh release that allows 3.0 through 3.0.*.
