Is there some javascript to make a APA-style referens?

Dear Zotero,
I would like to make an APA-style referens from data I have on a web page (actually your page). Is there some javascript code you know of that I can use for this?

There probably is not. If you have the citation data in Zotero, you can export it in the APA format. If you are more specific about your problem, then it would be possible to give a more specific answer.

Thanks mronkko. Maybe you are right. I have guessed the same, but I am asking to see if someone knows for sure.

I have been as exact as I can be. (I am trying to fill in a bookmarklet with the values.)

If you have the data stored in Zotero, then it is possible to use the server API to generate a bibliography in APA format.

Also now that I think of it, you can google for citeprocs.js and see if that helps. That is the citation engine used by Zotero.

But where do I find the server API documentation? (I looked under "Documentation", but I can't find it.)

Unfortunately I could not get this to work:

This gives me Invalid group ID.

userID and groupID are integers, not user/group names.

From the page:

User IDs are different from usernames and can be found on the API Keys page and in OAuth responses.

What he's saying is that the first users in that URL shouldn't be in pointy brackets because it's not a variable - if he's correct that's indeed a bit confusing and should be changed.

I am a bit stuck here, perhaps. What I want to do is just display a formatted reference (for the item in the library) in a bookmarklet window.

Maybe something totally different would be useful for me then. Would it be possible to add a field with a formatted reference in the library item web page? (I guess that could be useful to many people.)
