OO on PC installation error

We're unable to install OO plugin on pc with most recent version of OO and FF7. Reported error: 1333411772

what's the exact error message? What the Ooo version?

OO 3.3

error message: "installation could be completed because an error occurred. Please ensure that OO is closed [it is] and then restart FF"

Then there's a big pop up box with lots of stuff including try a manual install.

not yet. not sure what to choose for a location in the manual install (I assumed I would be asked).

If you click the manual install button during installation, it will give you instructions.
