Annotation toolbar not showing up in Chrome

Hi guys, apologies if I'm missing something obvious but the annotation toolbar does not show up when I view snapshots in Chrome. I am using Zotero standalone 3.0b2.1 and the chrome connector version 2.999.1, and I've have this problem on windows and mac.

Any help would be much appreciated.
