unsync a specific library?

Hi,

I have several libraries in my zotero and everything syncs automatically now. However, I recently ran out of storage. There is a personal library which I do not really need it to sync (I use only one pc) and there are several other libraries I share with colleagues so I need them to sync. Is there anyway to un-sync my personal library so that space can free up for the ones I need to sync?

Thank you!
  • By several libraries, do you mean groups? You can, I believe, turn off pdf sync for a group if you're the owner of the group, yes.

If by libraries you mean collections, the answer is no.
Also, not that storage volume only refers to files, not to data storage which is free and unlimited.
  • Thanks adamsmith! I think by libraries I am talking about collections:-(

You said that storage volume only refers to files, not to data storage which is free and unlimited. I just want to make sure: say I am looking for literature that supports my study. I grab the information of publication date, author, journal title... from the website as well as pdf full text. So the storage of the first part is free and unlimited, and the storage of pdf full text is limited, right?

Also, if the pdf full text is unable to sync to the server b/c the storage is full, then no one in my group can view the full text except myself, right?

    Thanks!

    Tracy

    that's all correct, yes.
