Upgrade StoragePubmed automated download of PDFs

As noted there, I VPN into pubmed, via a university site, and would like to be able to automate the download process. This process works fine for other sites, but the site translator for pubmed does not seem to work to include PDFs. The "atuomatically attach PDFs.." option is enabled.
Is this a VPN problem, a Pubmed problem, a user error. Does anyone else see this?
