Importing Pubmed PDF links

I work extensively in pubmed, VPN-ing to pubmed through a University site that has the usual set of subscriptions for on-line access. When I select a group of papers from the pubmed site, I am not getting the PDFs downloaded, even though I have this option enabled. Is this user error? Are others successful at this?

I should add that this feature does work when I use other non-pubmed sites.
